Exciting News for Harper Eye Care!

To all of the friends and patients who have become like family,

Dr. Harper and Staff.

You know I have always been committed to providing you with the best eye care possible.  My joy is helping you see clearly the moments in your life that matter the most. I treasure the opportunities to help your kids learn more easily in school.  While my passion hasn’t changed, the demand for my attention has. Changes in healthcare, competition with big box stores, and the need for better benefits for my compassionate staff have all demanded my consideration.  I never want to lose focus on why I am here. My commitment is to remain patient-focused and to do that, I am incredibly excited to announce that Harper Eye Care is merging with Triangle Visions Optometry.

Triangle Visions is the premier network of private practice optometrists in North Carolina.  In a climate of corporate sellouts, I wanted to remain a private practice. Our partnership will allow my office staff to focus on the patients here in the office rather than battling with insurance companies.  Greater insurance negotiation power means we can now accept some insurance plans that we once were unable to accept. It means my staff will have better benefits, like medical, dental, more vacation days which is hard for a small practice to provide but they absolutely deserve.  You know what a great staff we have and I am committed to keeping this experienced group to ensure you continue to receive the care from the people you know and trust. The care that you have come to expect will be the same, only better. Dr. Orr and I are committed to continuing to serve you for many years.  We now have access to even newer equipment that will continue to keep us on the cutting edge of new technology.

The familiar faces will remain.  Our philosophy of caring for you will remain.  We are blessed to be partnering with a network which allows us to continue the mission that began this practice ten years ago and look forward to keeping your eyes healthy and well for generations to come.

SEE you soon!
